We are Pixel Spawn
Pixel Spawn is a collective of digital artists and aficionados. We love digital art, and we aim to celebrate it and the tools used to create the pieces we love.
On this site you will find an assortment of blog posts, articles, tutorials and random musings, which we hope will inspire digital artists and educate aspiring ones.

Who are Pixel Spawn?
Who are Pixel Spawn?
Technology Production Manager at Framestore, into all things VFX & VR. When I'm not doing that I can be found gaming, knitting or curled up somewhere soft reading.
I like movies. And technology.
The perfect intersection of these two fields is visual effecs, and I’m currently a digital compositor at Industrial Light and Magic, where I've worked on some movies. I’ve been in VFX for over 7 years, and its an exciting field for using cutting edge technology to create spectacular images.
But I’m also interested in the ways that new technologies could be employed to this end. I’m starting to explore machine learning and artificial intelligence, with a view to finding ways to use this technology in VFX.
