A few years ago when we moved into our home David's mother bought him a puzzle of the area which we've always intended to do but hadn't gotten around to. Well today that changed!
It may only be 450 pieces but this doesn't appear to be as easy as I thought it would be. A lot of the pieces are very similar. We sorted through, got all the edge pieces and started working on putting the sides of the puzzle together. We worked on it for the about an hour and this is as far as we got.
Puzzle day… 9/10 surprisingly cathartic. Been meaning to find a new activity to do that doesn't involve screens and this could be a good one. Will update as we get through this one.
Update 1: (10/02)
We've started work on the red main roads running through the puzzle. They're almost in place!
Update 2: (15/02)
It's done! It's finally done! Check it out in all its glory…
I have no idea what we'll do with it now that it's completed but we'll leave it on the kitchen table for a bit and maybe buy a new puzzle to replace it.
